You might have wondered why you have an extra hole on each side when you buy new shoes? The extra hole that is placed so high up that it doesn’t feel quite natural to use it. Many don’t know what it is for, but it has a purpose that should be used and tested.
Here’s what to do for a better result:
- Take the lace from the second highest hole into the top hole.
- Thread the lace so you are left with a small loop.
- Do this on both sides.
- Then take the lace from one side across to the other, and through the loop.
- Tighten and tie together.
- Check that the shoes fit well.

Our running shoes can easily be washed in the washing machine, but it is important to remove the shoelaces and insoles first. To wash the shoes, you can do the following:

- Cover the area you want to clean with soap and soak it with cold water.
- Gently rub with a cloth until the stain has been lifted by the laces.
